Not only have you never held gaffed playing cards of this quality in your hand before, but they also offer endless possibilities and great fun! But what is a 'gaffed' deck, you ask? Simply, these are cards that fit quietly with your normal deck of cards, in this case a red Bicycle deck (Nr. 3018H Bicycle 808), that allow you to perform miracles you could never otherwise do. Nr 3017SP Split Spades Poker size, standard index, split spades back design. Classic Tally-Ho linoid finish and quality that fans and cuts perfectly every time. Designed by M. Stutzman especially for David Blaine this deck uses the standard US Playing Card Company faces, but there are a few exceptions. The faces of the royals on the KS, QS, and QH have been redesigned to look like Blaine and two women – who might perhaps be his girlfriend and his mother (anybody who knows?). The card that the QS holds is also now the 4 of spades, rather than the standard 6 of spades as found on most USPCC decks. The two jokers create an optical illusion in which you can see both a face and the word Liar. The 2 "bonus" cards are a blank facer, handy for many effects, and then a card with a giant split spade logo on it, with "David Blaine" in fairly small typeface on one end. It's this bonus split spade card that has the saved and drowned text on it as well. Both David Blaine and M. Stutzman have a desire for quality and beauty.
